Shoreditch Electricity Rooms – Shoreditch

The way things are going these days, no trendy bar or café will be complete without the odd piece of taxidermy it seems. Although as Polly Morgan used to be the manager here we’ll assume they were one of the first to set the trend. The venue is large and nicely decorated which attracts Shoreditch locals, although I have noticed that the original hipsters are being driven further away to Dalston and Hackney and the corporate types are moving in instead. It’s a bit like an old fashioned English pub but with 70′s-style hippie-chic wallpaper and very popular with the super cool twenty to thirty something crowd who come in droves to drink and stand around looking like they’ve just stepped out of a Vice magazine fashion shoot.
