To the Jungle – Dalston

First of all I’m somewhat curious and amazed the council gave them permission to paint the outside like that, I love it though, it looks great and shows how very open minded Hackney Council can be. To the Jungle is a very nice addition to Dalston. Their Red Velvet cake is famously good and you can get a nice pot of tea to go with that. It’s a busy little place with a quirky look to it, odd bits of furniture, shelves stacked with coffee and loaves of bread for sale. I love the book selection too as it looks like each book was picked for its front cover merits alone. Each one looks like a collectable, this one I photographed should be framed. I like how the seats are covered in coffee sacks and how it’s all nice and simple and doing its own thing a bit.
