The Breakfast Club – Hoxton

I’ve had a bit of a love hate relationship with the Breakfast Club. On the one hand, it looks great, there is lots of space and they serve delicious highly fattening comfort food (with big portions) such as pancakes and hamburgers. The downside is that it is growing too fast and becoming a bit too chainlike but I guess they are onto a winning formula so they might as well milk it. The Breakfast Club is always my first choice if I’m meeting up with a group of friends as there are great spots with sofas and comfy chairs where you can sit for hours. They cost of generic antabuse have a liquor licence and serve coffee all day along with breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to cakes, cookies and pastries. It stays open pretty late too which is great as cafes usually close at 6, a fact I must admit I hate about London. Los Angeles is the best place for cafes staying open late, it’s all those freelance script writers perhaps. Oh and if you want to see the ‘coolness’ that East London is famous for this would be a good place to start.
