Blitz Cafe – Brick Lane

Blitz Cafe is slightly off the main thoroughfare of Brick Lane and is definitely my favourite cafe in the area. Part of a vintage department store (as it calls itself) they don’t serve food just some good cakes and very nice coffee. I don’t usually drink coffee unless it has tons of sugar in it but when I order a coffee here it doesn’t even need sugar. They also have lots of fashionable magazines like POP and Tank and during the week it’s quite quiet as generally people don’t know it’s here. The best thing though is they have a great selection of books for sale. Every time I come here I pick up something great. The last thing I bought was called  ’Tokyo Vice’ about a police reporter in Tokyo which was awesome as it was all about the Yakuza, the Japanese Mafia. They have nice lighting and it feels calm and peaceful, not like the usual bustling places in this area, ok apart from on a weekend perhaps when everywhere is busy.

  • I do trust all the concepts you have presented to your post. They’re really convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for starters. Could you please prolong them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
