Embassy East, Hoxton

Embassy East is in my opinion the best cafe in the area. Run by Tommy, Lehi and Chris (who wasn’t there when I took the photos), they source everything more or less locally with bread coming from the e5 Bakehouse, Smoked Salmon (the Alaskan kind) from Stoke Newington and coffee from Clerkenwell…

Creperie du Monde – Hackney

I think if there was only one thing I could eat for the rest of my life it would be crepes. Creperie du Monde does lots of delicious and different types of crepe from sweet to savoury the list is huge, just look at the menu on their website and they do waffles and omelettes too. It’s jam packed on the weekend as Chatsworth Road is fast on its way to becoming Broadway Market…

Ten Bells – Spitalfields

Situated on the corner of Fournier Street (one of my favourite streets in London, due to its proper Victorian-ness) and next to Shoreditch Church, the Ten Bells is where Jack the Ripper would meet the prostitutes who would later become his victims…
